We would like to announce that Indoorflyer.co.uk has been passed on to Robotbirds.com who are an electric flight specialist and will continue with most of the items that were stocked over the years and will add many more. The products range will keep the tradition i.e. very small and light flying machines and all the bits needed to build them.

It has been almost two years since we took over Indoor Flyer from Graham Stabler. The plan was to increase the size of the business so it could provide a source of income for my better half Halley. Last year sales were good and the future looked bright. Unfortunately times have changed. Even though we now have a better selection of products than ever our sales are only 1/3 of what they were last year. As you probably know I have a busy day job as IT Manager and running Indoor Flyer has taken its toll. 60-80 hour working weeks and hardly a weekend off. Halley has taken care of all the day to day order processing but I have done all the purchasing, product development and accounting. This is work that takes the same amount of time whether we sell for £2000 or £20000. Because of the low sales it is no longer a viable business and not by a long stretch worth the effort I put into it. Therefore we are closing down Indoor Flyer in its current form and Halley will start to look for a new job. We are sad to see Indoor Flyer go. It has been exciting and we have made many new friends. 

We would like to thank all that have supported our business and hope you will support the new owner.
